Yes, our buses are available for area field trips. We transport children who meet the State’s age requirements. These children are given opportunities to see their community and other places of interest year-round. Whether it is the local grocery store, the petting zoo, the library, and entertainment places such as roller skating, bowling or putt-putt golf, we provide fun and learning for the children!

Yes, our schools are equipped with four areas of outside play. The children have scheduled times in the morning and the afternoon to explore their outside world. As an added safety feature, our schools have six foot fencing around the outside perimeter of the play areas. The play equipment is state-of-the-art and Kids Kids ´R´ Kids abides by the Federal regulations on safety equipment and their surrounding fall zones.

Yes, we serve hot meals and nutritional snacks. Our location is equipped with a full-service kitchen and staff trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children.

Yes, the Kids ´R´ Kids faculty are required to follow their state regulations that apply to training. All staff are trained in First Aid/CPR, Infectious Disease Control, Injury Prevention, and Child Abuse Awareness. Additional training in curriculum, child development, classroom arrangement, classroom management, age appropriate activities, nutrition, field trip planning and OSHA regulations provide the skills needed to create a quality learning environment. The staff is encouraged to further their education through CDA and CCP programs and are given opportunities to attend professional training conferences. We are proud to announce that lead teachers at Kids R Kids are required to either be in the process of or already hold their CDA - Child Development Associates.

Yes, our internet viewing system can connect parents and family members to their child while at work or thousands of miles away. Through a secured internet site and unique password you can observe your child´s daily activities through your computer. The same cameras are fed to the front desk for additional monitoring by administrative staff.

We accept children ages 6wks - 12 years old

Each classroom is designed with children in mind. Tempered glass walls surround each classroom from floor to ceiling, enabling children to see their surrounding environment. Each preschool classroom is equipped with “boy” and “girl” rest rooms as well as hand washing sinks for optimal convenience. The separated carpeted and tiled areas allow for creative play as well as group time activities with friends.

Children need to run and play and we are aware of the benefits, both mentally and physically. You will find four separate playgrounds (with shade covers throughout) and even a water park! Our outdoor play areas are used for running, sliding, swinging and organized group games. You will also find our curriculum being used as children plant a garden, dig for bugs or envision pictures in the clouds. We do need to mention that safety is the number one rule, both inside and on the playground. Each staff member is trained in supervision, first aid and CPR.

Kids ‘R’ Kids International, researches and writes it own curriculum for preschool and school age children. Our curriculum philosophy is that children learn best through play. Jean Piaget, an esteemed psychologist learned that children understand concepts when they are introduced through social interaction with other in a structured environment. We know when a child experiences a concept; it is understood and therefore remembered. Each classroom is equipped with curriculum that is theme-based and covers all areas of learning to include: Artistic Creations, Blocks and building design, Dramatic Play, Library and Literature, Math and Table Activities, Music and Movement, Science and Discovery, Sand and Water, Writing Exploration, Outdoor Fun, (including rainy day activities), morning and afternoon group times, and of course, the Listening center. We are pleased to announce that our curriculum is now CITA accredited!

Daily Reports for infant, toddler, and preschool children describe your child’s day, including meal times, nap times and other important classroom activities and announcements. Parents always enjoy this form of communication from our staff. Another way for parents to stay in touch with their child’s day is by taking part in child/parent days at school. Throughout the year each classroom often invites parents to spend time in the classroom while the children “show off” what they have accomplished at school. Parents also enjoy the school’s annual spring festivals, and holiday family meals!

Kids ‘R’ Kids wants parents to feel secure regarding the care of their children. Parents have the ability and pleasure of viewing their child from their personal computer at home or work by using a private password to gain entrance to our video camera system. Parents can observe their child in the classroom, the Kids Café, and at some locations on the playground. Seeing your child well cared for, as well as allowing close relatives to view your children, if you wish, speaks volumes about keeping family connections in tact.
