Tender loving care is the curriculum we
follow for our tiniest students. The most relaxed atmosphere you will
find in a newborn nursery. With our 10:3 compared to state ratio of
10:2, we can provide the extra staff member for the bulk of the day makes the
difference with our babies. Nurturing and stimulating our infants is
easy to focus on with qualified, experienced staff to do it. All of our
babies set their own schedule, with nutrition and cleanliness a top priority.
Our babies individual daily charts are carbon copied for clarity and
reference, are updated throughout the day for a clear picture of each child's
day.
We
provide everything for our infants with the exception of formula and diapers.
Baby foods, cereals, and juices (Heinz and Gerber), diaper wipes, linens,
and ointments are always in abundance to take the burden off of parents.
We will follow babies nutritional development and tailor their individual
menus to their personal needs. Individual bottle trays are kept for each
child and all bottle warming is done with crock pots. Each baby has
their own daily schedules. There are no set "diaper changing" or
"feeding" times. Parents have room to store extra diapers, diaper bags,
and there is even a car seat closet in the front lobby just for you.
Special appearances are made each week by
Opus One Music (Mr Freddy) as the babies love his singing and guitar playing.
Graduating from our infants sweet is
determined by each babies individual development rather than age.
Beginners crawling skills, a good developing appetite and a small dose of
independence can start the process to moving to the next class, with a week of
visiting before graduating. This usually takes place from 6 to 8 months,
depending on baby.
As in all classrooms, we provide everything
for our children with the exception of diapers and formula. All of their
baby foods, (Heinz and Gerber), juices and cereals along with ointments, diaper
wipes and all bed linens. As they develop towards table food, we take care
of that also with special attention being given by staff to eliminate all choke
hazards. We have a storage area just for parents to use for extra diapers
and diaper bags, and you can use the car seat closet in the lobby if you need
to.
Lead teachers in all of our nurseries are
scheduled in at 6:00 a.m. We do not combine ages in our classrooms for any
reason, all day. Your staff, your childs' classmates, familiar faces everyday.
